HALIFAX, June 30 /CNW/ - Jazz Air LP (Jazz) announced today that it has reached a tentative labour contract with its Flight Attendants represented by the Canadian Flight Attendants Union (CFAU).

The CFAU represents approximately 760 Flight Attendants employed at Jazz. Further details of the agreement will not be released pending ratification.

"We are nearing the completion of all our labour agreements and hope to finalize the remaining contract with our Crew Schedulers in the near future."

Jazz's Dispatchers ratified their collective agreement on March 27, 2010. Jazz's Technical Services (Maintenance and Engineering) division ratified its agreement on September 12, 2009 and the airline's Customer Services and Aircraft Services divisions ratified their agreement on December 16, 2009. Both groups are represented by the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW). These collective agreements are part of the 2009-2010 renewal of all Jazz's labour contracts. Jazz's Pilots reached a tentative collective agreement on June 25, 2010 and is subject to ratification.

Negotiations with Jazz's 33 Crew Schedulers (CAW) are ongoing.

Jazz is the second largest airline in Canada based on fleet size, operating approximately 840 flights daily to 85 destinations in Canada and the United States.
