Jazz Aviation LP named one of Canada's Best Diversity employers for fourth consecutive year

HALIFAX, April 1, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Jazz Aviation LP ("Jazz") has been selected as one of Canada's Best Diversity Employers for 2015 by Mediacorp Canada Inc. for the fourth year in a row.

"Diversity is a fundamental part of Jazz's people and our business; and we are thrilled to be recognized for a fourth consecutive year," said Colin Copp, Chief Administrative Officer at Jazz.

"We value our culture that celebrates unique perspectives and individual differences – and as an organization, we are stronger because of it."

This special award recognizes employers across Canada that have exceptional workplace diversity and inclusiveness programs. The annual competition evaluates a range of diversity initiatives, including programs for five major employee groups: women; members of visible minorities; persons with disabilities; aboriginal peoples; and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered/transsexual peoples.

Jazz was recognized for promoting a culture that embraces diversity and fosters inclusion through a number of initiatives aimed at making current and prospective employees feel welcome and valued, and by forming partnerships with organizations that seek to support our goal.
