HALIFAX, Jan. 10, 2017 /CNW/ - For the fifth year, Jazz Aviation LP ("Jazz") has earned a spot on Mediacorp Canada Inc.'s Canada's Top Employers for Young People listing – an annual survey of Canadian businesses.
"This recognition reflects our commitment to attracting and retaining young talent. Canada's Top Employers for Young People is an editorial competition organized by the Canada's Top 100 Employers project. This special designation recognizes the employers that offer the nation's best workplaces and programs for young people at the start of their careers.
In selecting this year's Top Employers for Young People, Mediacorp editors examined each employer's mentorship and training programs as well as career management programs, looking for initiatives that can assist younger workers advance faster in the organization.
Jazz was recognized for encouraging employees to keep their skills sharp throughout their careers with formal mentoring, in-house and online training options, apprenticeships and paid internship opportunities; and for supporting employees' volunteering endeavours in their community.

Jazz: Under the Jazz brand, the airline offers charters throughout North America with a dedicated fleet of three Bombardier aircraft for corporate clients, governments, special interest groups and individuals seeking more convenience. Jazz also has the ability to offer airline operators services such as ground handling, dispatching, flight load planning, training and consulting.
